Saudi Foreign Minister vows full support for Pakistan’s economic growth

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, currently on a two-day official visit to Islamabad, reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to actively contribute to Pakistan’s economic development. He emphasized the importance of ongoing constructive discussions between the two nations during a joint press conference with Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

The visit by the high-level Saudi delegation follows discussions between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, indicating the strong bilateral ties. Prince Faisal highlighted opportunities for increased investment in Pakistan, promising significant progress in the coming months.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to enhancing their partnership and fostering economic cooperation. Foreign Minister Dar welcomed the Saudi delegation, expressing optimism about Pakistan becoming an investment hub. He assured full support for Saudi investment under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s directives.

Prince Faisal commended the warm reception and stressed the importance of strategic partnership, pledging to strengthen investment in Pakistan.

Both countries expressed concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, calling for an immediate ceasefire, humanitarian aid access, and an end to the suffering of Palestinians. They urged the international community to take urgent action to prevent further loss of life and investigate human rights violations in Gaza.
