Shoe theft incident raises concern at parliament mosque

In Islamabad, an unusual incident unfolded at the Parliament House on Friday, catching everyone off guard. Despite security measures, thieves managed to slip past unnoticed, causing a stir among officials and journalists. It all started during Friday prayers at the parliament mosque, where worshippers, including lawmakers, reporters, and staff, had gathered.

While people were praying, some individuals took advantage of the situation and stole over 20 pairs of shoes from the mosque entrance. This left worshippers in a tough spot as they finished their prayers and realized their shoes were gone. There was confusion as people tried to figure out what to do next.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, quickly got involved, asking for a report from security. It turned out that the security guards assigned to the area were not there when the theft occurred, making things worse.

Following the Speaker’s instructions, officials are now looking into the matter. They’re checking CCTV footage to find out the culprit behind the theft. This incident has raised concerns about security at the parliament, and steps are being taken to prevent such incidents from happening again.
