Hezbollah mourns loss of leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s mother

In a heartfelt announcement on Saturday, Hezbollah expressed “deep sorrow and grief” over the death of Umm Hassan, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s mother. Umm Hassan passed away following a prolonged illness.

Hezbollah conveyed its heartfelt condolences to Sayyed Nasrallah, describing Umm Hassan as “a faithful and pure mother who raised and nurtured a devout, striving, and noble family.”

“The loss is grievous and the sorrow is great, but we find solace in the decree of Allah and His will, accepting His judgment and His wisdom,” read the statement.

The Islamic Resistance also extended its condolences to Sayyed Nasrallah’s father, Sayyed Abdul Karim, and the entire Nasrallah family.

“Our condolences go out, especially, to our commander and leader, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. His sorrow is our sorrow, and what befalls him affects all the followers of this blessed path. We ask Allah Almighty to grant him, his father, and the entire family patience and solace, and to prolong his life as a leader and an inspiration, as Allah has honored this resistance, our homeland, and our nation through him.”

“We pray to Allah Almighty to grant the beloved Umm Hassan mercy and the highest ranks,” the statement continued.

Hezbollah concluded by inviting supporters and members of the Resistance to participate in her funeral procession and “to console our dear leader Sayyed Nasrallah” at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 26, at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Ghobeiry.

The president of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, Ansar Allah movement spokesperson, Mohammad Abdul Salam, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement also offered their condolences to Sayyed Nasrallah over the passing of his mother.
